Exploring the Sustainability Challenge is a virtual conversation series that provides a lively forum for the exchange of ideas. Launched in 2021, the series engages in conversations with thought leaders from around the world, exploring the most urgent sustainability-related topics of our time.
Each session is hosted by Michael Ben-Eli on Zoom and livestreamed on Facebook. There is no fee to attend.
Michael Ben-Eli, Host
Michael is the founder of The Sustainability Laboratory, established to advance the concept of sustainability, expanding prospects and producing positive, life affirming impacts on people and ecosystems in all parts of the world. Prior to launching The Lab, Michael pioneered applications of systems thinking and cybernetics in management and organization, and has worked on synthesizing strategy issues in many parts of the world and in diverse institutional settings. Michael is the author of the widely-acclaimed five core sustainability principles, and he is leading the development of The Lab as a worldwide network of ecozone-based activity centers. In XX he was inducted into the International Green Industries Hall of Fame.
Liz Soolkin, Technical Producer
Liz is an accomplished filmmaker with extensive experience in video production and editing. Her passion lies in collaborating with non-profits and message-driven organizations, channeling her skills towards humanitarian causes. Adept at capturing emotion and weaving narratives, Liz is committed to creating compelling content that sparks change.
